Member of the
is a Hunt Test club for Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers,
Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and all others approved by AKC to run
in AKC-sanctioined hunt tests. ETRC is dedicated to the advancement of the
breeds to their full potential as sporting dogs running hunt
tests. Our club conducts simulated hunt tests throughout the
year, as well as official AKC Hunt Tests twice a year.
The purpose of ETRC is to promote and encourage the
breeding of pure bred AKC registered retrievers and to do all
that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection
by promoting sportsman like competition at AKC Hunt Tests.
ETRC conducts club trials and fun training sessions during
the fiscal year at local farms and Tennessee Wildlife Resources
Agency's managed areas. These are informal, one day events in
which dogs may compete in five different stakes depending on age
