The purpose of ETRC is to encourage the sport of
retriever hunting tests and field trials, promote
sportsmanlike competition at field events, preserve game, and to
promote quality in the breeding of pure-bred
AKC registered
retrievers. All breeds of dogs approved by AKC to run in
AKC-sanctioned retriever events are welcome.
ETRC conducts
official AKC Hunt Tests several times a year in the spring and fall. In
addition, we sponsor one-day club trials, seminars, and fun
training sessions during the year at local farms and Tennessee
Wildlife Resources Agency's managed areas. We have activities
and training opportunities for dogs and owners of all levels and
abilities.
