East Tennessee Retriever Club

Member Club, licensed and governed by the AKC
Member of the
MNRC

ETRC is a Hunt Test club for Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Flat-Coated Retrievers, Curly-Coated Retrievers, Irish Water Spaniels, Standard Poodles, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, dedicated to the advancement of the breeds to their full potential as sporting dogs running hunt tests. Our club conducts simulated hunt tests through out the year, as well as official AKC Hunt Tests twice a year.

The purpose of ETRC is to promote and encourage the breeding of pure bred AKC registered retrievers and to do all that is possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection by promoting sportsman like competition at AKC Hunt Tests. ETRC conducts club trials and fun training sessions during the fiscal year at local farms and Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency's managed areas. These are informal, one day events in which dogs may compete in five different stakes depending on age and abilities.
